The Prosperity of Love
By Pastor Andre Butler
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself
Matthew 22:37-39
There is no question that Jesus loved God with all His heart, soul, and mind. He loved His fellow man as Himself—in words and deeds. Jesus stayed in love as well as faith.
We have to learn to walk in love with each other, not just the believers, but the sinners, too. We are to love our enemies—not just tolerate them-with an unconditional, everlasting love.
What would love do in some of the situations you are facing right now? You may feel like wringing your boss' neck. We are all dealing with sinners, but you don't reach the sinner by returning evil for evil. You reach the sinner by loving him. When you love him, you walk in protection and in health. When you love him, God will give you promotion and prosperity. In fact, love is the key to prospering in every area of life.
