God Loves Prosperity
By Pastor Andre Butler

And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

2 Chronicles 26:5

Uzziah did not begin his kingship as a rich or favored man. His father was assassinated, and the men who killed his father made Uzziah a king. Even with this negative beginning, Uzziah walked right in the sight of the Lord, and as long as he sought the Lord, God prospered him.

King Uzziah rebuilt the city of Eloth, a city that had been lost to Judah. His armies were victorious against all the nations that came against them. Uzziah received the wealth of the wicked and caused Jerusalem to prosper. His son was one of the few kings who served God all the days of his life. Uzziah's witty inventions caused his nation to be successful.

If God made this man prosper, prosperity must be a good thing to God.
