| Obey God No Matter What

Matthew 14:24-25
God is a God of details. He does everything with a purpose. Jesus had received His instructions from God— probably before He went to pray—and He chose to obey His Father. He did not consider how bad things looked. He did not doubt. He just obeyed.
Have you noticed that God never asks you to do something when everything is calm? When things start happening, and you're in the midst of a sea with waves crashing all about, God will say, "Now, step out of the boat."
It takes faith to obey God no matter what you are facing. It takes faith to give when you do not seem to have enough money for yourself. It takes faith to walk in love with somebody when it seems as if you are getting trampled.
Be like Jesus. Obey God, no matter what the circumstance. | |
