| If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures
Job 36:11
Many Christians say, "I serve Him." This verse says, however, that you must both obey and serve Him.
Job didn't say that you might spend your days in prosperity if you obey and serve Him. If you win the war within, you will spend your days in prosperity. You are obeying and serving the Most High God. He has the power to fill your years with pleasure and delight in God's best.
When you win the war within, you may give up some things as far as the world is concerned, but you will gain so much more. When you win the war within, you can say, "I'm blessed. I've got God's best, and there is much more to come in the days to ahead." | |
