Moving In God-given Authority by Pastor Kong Hee

“Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, ‘What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.’” ~ Luke 4:36

If we study the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke and John—the most impressive thing about Jesus Christ was His words!

There was no physical description of Jesus—no comment on His height, weight, hair, eyes, nose, teeth, etc. But everybody said, “No man ever spoke like this man!” When Jesus spoke, the sick were healed, demons were cast out and the dead were raised!

And that is how God wants you to be: Jesus wants you to command your mountains to go! And He wants you to “have dominion” through “your right to command.” How? Through your faith-filled confession, prayer and praise.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” ~ Mark 11:24

Friend, it truly has been the heart of God from the very beginning of creation that you would effectively exercise His dominion and authority on earth. I pray that through this week’s devotions, you have grown and will continue to grow mighty in faith, ready to step out in authority for His glory!

Prayer for the day:

Ask God to seal in your heart all you have learned about the authority He has given you, and ask Him to help you step out in every circumstance you face each day from today onward.
