Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee; And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing
Genesis 12:1-2

Many of you need to get away from people and things that are stopping your blessings. For some of you, the blessing stoppers are family members. For some of you, the blessing stoppers are the friends you’re still hanging around. For some of you, the blessing stopper is listening to television preachers who preach against what God’s Word clearly says! Get thee out! Go where God leads you!

Disobedience, also, stops blessings from coming. If you fail to do what God tells you to do, you will never know what blessings you have rejected.

You need to get away from the people who are stopping your blessings. If friends are gossiping in your ear, get away. If they are causing your faith to be crippled, get away. When you finally obey, you’ll say, "I wish I had done this a long time ago!"
