Teach Us To Number Our Days, Lord - Psalm 90:12, a 1-minute devotion about godly priorities
I regularly need to evaluate my schedule because my use of time is a direct reflection of my values.

As a new believer, I couldn’t wait to grab God’s Word when I put my children down for a nap. I didn't need to schedule time with God because I was so eager to learn about my new faith.

Unfortunately, for most of us, that stage wears off and we need to start "training" ourselves to make time with the Lord.

Every close relationship requires effort, growth, and commitment to keep things in priority (Psalm 90:12).

This is especially true when we transition to different stages in life. A mom of small children struggles with different schedule constraints and distractions than a retiree or a businessman. We need to "customize" our schedules accordingly.

Why? Because Jesus is the most necessary and beneficial part of our lives!

Question: What most often interferes with your time with the Lord? Pray about ways you can avoid that hindrance.
