Jesus' Strategy: Make Disciples
By Pastor Andre Butler

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the LORD, and see how they do. And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches
Acts 15:36,

After reading this Scripture, you may say, "I thought Paul's responsibility was to preach the gospel to as many people as he could in order to win as many souls as possible. I thought I was supposed to get as many souls saved as I can." Wrong. Jesus' strategy was to make as many disciples as He could because the more disciples He made, the more people He could get saved. Thirteen men going out and winning souls was far more effective than one going out alone.

That is what church is all about. We come to church to get trained so all of us can go out winning souls. God's strategy is not to get as many as we can. God's strategy is to win those we can, raise them up, train them, and then go out together and start the process all over.
