Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| The Spirit Upon Him
After leaving the wilderness and after learning that John had been put into prison, Jesus departed to Galilee. Then He went to Nazareth where He had been raised, and as His custom was, He went to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read. When they handed Him the book of the prophet Isaiah, He opened the book and He read: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luke 4:18-19). Then He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. He told them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing" (Luke 4:21). Needless to say, this caused quite a stir in the synagogue, and they even attempted to kill Him. But the point is this. Jesus defined the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He said because the Holy Spirit had anointed Him, He was commissioned to do the following things: 1) to preach the gospel to the poor, 2) to heal the brokenhearted, 3) to proclaim liberty to the captives, 4) to heal the blind, 5) to release people who are oppressed, and 6) to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. When the Holy Spirit is present, His anointing seeks to accomplish the same purpose. We cannot limit the Holy Spirit to one gift, an emotion, or manifestation, but must allow Him to work to the fullness of His purpose in our lives. "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him" (Acts 10:38).
