Songs that promote fornication, rebellion, drugs, drinking, violence, rape, murder, fighting, lust, anarchy, false religion, the new age... etc are obviously Satanic, and are spreading openly the message of Lucifer. Yet Satan has even more sinister ways of adding his message to a song. In this study we are going to expose these "Wiles of the Devil".


Backmasking and subliminal messages

Back masking has been found in Rock music for decades. Why does Satan backmask? To gain MIND CONTROL. The alcohol, tobacco and retail industries spend millions of dollars yearly on subliminal programming. Shops use it to fight shoplifting.

"Enchantment is a form of spell casting primarily involving mind control. Enchanters dispatch or assign wicked spirits to objects and places for whatever purpose the spell calls for.... Enchantment controls the mind and is one of the most powerful spells that can be cast on a person...." David Meyer ex-occultist.

Jimi Hendrix revealed the conspiracy of subliminals 20 years ago.
"Atmospheres are going to come through music, because music is in a spiritual thing of its own..... you hypnotise people to where they go right back to their natural state which is pure positive ... and when you get people at that weakest point, you can preach into the subconscious what we want to say ..... "

Question: Who is meant by "WE" in the above quote? Answer: Jimi Hendrix and his demons.

"People want release any kind of way nowadays. The idea is to release in the proper form. Then they'll feel like going into another world, a clearer world. The music flows from the air. That's why I connect with a spirit and when they come down off this natural high, they see clearer, feel different things ....."

Jimi Hendrix's method of preaching locks onto a spirit of music which comes from the air. "The prince of the power of air, that now works in the children of disobedience." Ephesians 2:2

Q. What is the power of air? A. Radio, TV, internet are three examples.
Go to a local shopping mall and you see children of disobedience, rebellious, sullen, stubborn, angry teens in black clothing. (Colour of darkness in uniform)

Q. Why would Satan put backmasks in Christian rock?
A. To erase the difference between Christ and Satan.
Q. What kind of spirit is loose in the youth at your chruch? Are they the children of God, or children of disobedience?

INVOKING THE DEVIL

How the satanic messages get onto the albums is a mystery, but the testimony of Elaine, a former Satanic High Priestess gives a good clue - at least as far as the usual Rock albums are concerned. The Rock rhythm and style is itself an invocation to demonic powers to participate. Rocker, David Bowie says, "Rock has always been the devil's music." If demons are invoked through Rock, then it is understandable that they will sing in duo with the artists, and as fans around the world listen and join in the songs, they form a planetary choir of satanic praise.

Is Christian rock more dangerous than secular rock and roll? Yes! "It's more deadly because it's disguised, and pulling blindfolds over Christian eyes is something in which Satan delights."

Godwin includes a testimony of Elaine, who for 17 years was a servant of Satan. She became a high priestess, and also attained a high position of national leadership in the US. Elaine eventually rejected Satan and was saved through faith in the Lord Jesus.

DEMONS ON RECORDS

Part of her testimony, as relating to Rock, follows:

"Because of the high position I held for so many years, I was involved in the planning of many of the destructive influences Satan has brought into the U.S. and other countries. Satan if REAL! Demons are REAL! I can tell you from my own personal experience, but you don't have to take my words for this. Simply read God's Word.

"Like so may other things, the whole movement of Rock music was carefully planned and carried out by Satan and his servants from its very beginning. Rock music didn't "just happen" it was a carefully masterminded plan by none other than Satan himself.

" I have personally met a great number of the rock stars. They have All agreed to serve Satan in return for money and fame. They have received all they wanted, but also so much more that they didn't expect. Their very lives and souls are, and in many cases have been , destroyed. These rock stars KNOW exactly what they are doing. They are, step by step, teaching untold millions of young people to worship and serve Satan.

"I attended special ceremonies at various recording studios throughout the U.S. for the specific purpose of placing Satanic blessing on the Rock music recorded. We did incantation which placed demons on EVERY record and tape of rock music that was sold. At times we also called up special demons who spoke on the recordings - the various backmasked messages. ALSO, in many recordings, we were ourselves recorded in the background (masked by the over-all noise of the music) doing chants and incantations to summon up more demons every time one of the records or tapes is played. As the music is played, these demons are summoned into the room to afflict the person playing the music, and anyone else who is listening. The purpose of all this? MIND CONTROL! Mind control not only to give the listeners understanding of the messages about Satan conveyed to them by the music, but also to prevent them from recognising their need of Jesus. (See II Corinthians 4:4)

"Many of the song lyrics are themselves actual incantations calling up demons when the song is sung. The purpose of this is two-fold: to exert control over the listener, and to provide the listener with actual incantations he or she can use to send demons upon another person to gain revenge by afflicting them with illness, accidents, etc., and also to help influence another person into the bondage of Rock music itself. A good example of this is the lyrics of the DOOM SONG by the PLASMATICS.

"Behold the power of the night Curse the filthy hypocrites Crawl into their beds at night Ooze from slimy depths below Scream into their frozen brains Work thy wretched wrath Remove all obstacles from our path I command that these things which I speak Will come to be Behold the Prince of Darkness here!"

If you don't think there is a supernatural power behind Rock music, you just try to stop listening to it (if you normally do), or try to get someone else to stop listening to it. You will quickly experience the power behind the music.

The Music of Devils in God's House

"It amazes me," he says, "that a great multitude of young men and women, including young ministers, are so infatuated with rock music".  What incredible spiritual blindness!

"We have come to the place where anything is acceptable if it 'gets results'. If the music of devils gets kids up front to make a decision, it is acceptable. How very dangerous. Most of those youth have not been touched beyond their emotions. The Holy Spirit has not probed deeply to deal with sin. No demands have been made on them about forsaking the world, their old ways and friends - and there is little or no heart repentance. It ends up a 'vote for Jesus'.

"My concern is, What does God think about rock? If we can discover His mind on this matter, then all Christ-loving youth must accept it; and if they won't, it will prove they are stubborn, deceived by lying spirits, and not willing to submit to the Holy Spirit's authority."

IS THE DEVIL IN CHRISTIAN ROCK?

Under this chapter heading, Jeff Godwin reports on CHRISTIAN ROCK. He says "Christian rock" is a contradiction in terms. " How can Christ be unequally yoked with the perverse paganism of Rock?"

When you join yourself to rock music, you are joining Jesus Christ to perverse, world loving paganism!

Godwin maintains that Satan is the King of Rock, and that he does not stop at the door of the Gospel Record store. Rather, Satan is now mounting a strategic offensive against Christians, utilizing willing, zealous believers to propagate the beat, the style and the hidden messages amongst young Christians.

HOW CAN SATAN BE IN IT, WHEN THEY USE IT TO WIN SOULS?

Question: Some Christian Rockers argue that Rock music doesn't have to be satanic. If the lyrics are about the Lord and salvation, it can be a legitimate form by which young people in a world of predominate rock can be won for Christ.

Answer: We are not talking here about lively gospel music. We're talking about ROCK! We are not talking about beat or even drums. We're talking about ROCK beat and style. While some Christian Rockers may say they are seeking to win souls in the rock world, but what they are actually doing is introducing young people to Rock, and the spirit of rock.

Music is not for winning souls, but for singing praises to GOD! Preaching is is the tool given by God to win souls to the kingdom.-- Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Some ask? Why can’t a Christian enjoy "worldly" rock also? Everything we do should be to the glory of GOD. 1Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

"There's one very simple test for Christians to use to determine what is and what is not godly music: Could you play that music as part of the Sunday morning worship service without offending God? If GOD wouldn’t be pleased with it, then it is not worth playing. If such music cannot be used to praise the King, then why are you listening to it?

CHRISTIAN ROCK ALBUMS LOADED WITH DEMONICS!

A few Christian lyrics does not worry the devil - he joins the Christian artists in the recording studio to sing with them in duet, just as he does the secular rock musicians. This is not imagination! It is most alarming to discover that many "Christian Rock" albums are also backmasked with satanic messages. There's something about ROCK that Satan claims as his own!

STRYPER's album "In God We Trust" contains the hidden messages, "Hail Lucifer," and "Satan who love we worship."

DANIEL BAND's album "Rise Up" has the hidden words, "Now worship Satan", and "I shall love Satan" and "I am fighting back oh master demon."

JERUSALEM has an album "In His Majesty's Service" which is backmasked with the words, "Hey Lord Satan .. Yarrh Satan he's master ... Yarrh, Satan is Lord ... Say I love you Satan. Jesus God he serves Satan ... oh we're yours Satan evil, oh evil, god is nil ... My friend Lucifer sings for you".

RESURRECTION BAND's album "Between Heaven 'n Hell" is backmasked with "Yeah Lucifer promised me more, live for a week, ooh evil I take the mark".

PETRA, another Christian Rock Group while singing "Washes Whiter Than, " had no idea they were being backmasked with the shocking hidden refrain, "Ooh so evil ..... Lord Satan ..... Lord Satan my love." Each of these phrases are repeated over and over.

CARMEN's record "Destination is There" has the hidden words, "Satan worship the mark .... worship Satan."
On their album "Radically Saved," the backmask is "Here's Lucifer."

Biblical precepts against Christian Rock music:

Firstly, God is concerned with the seed that produces the fruit. All seed produces of its own kind. Out of which womb was Rock music born? Was it born in the womb of a Spirit-filled musician? GOD FORBID!

Secondly, God will not accept a blemished sacrifice! (Malachi 1:8-13). Every Christian concert or record should be an offering to the Lord. Is Rock an acceptable offering?

"I've noticed", he says, "that musicians at Christian concerts seldom perform rock just before the message and invitation. It is not conducive to conviction of any kind because it is of another spirit. If it is of God, why not use it before the invitation? Why not a ripping rock segment just before the sermonette? It is reserved for the entertainment part of concerts, to the accompanying of fleshy whistles, shouting and grooving. It doesn't inspire them to kneel and pray, or even to bow their heads and worship. There is not one ounce of conviction in it - God refuses to touch it. What it does is turn audiences on to a fleshy display of jumping on seats, jiving and dancing in anything but a spiritual manner."
Thirdly, God has His prescribed boundaries for worship. (Malachi 1:12)

Fourthly, God is looking for overcomers who will search out the old paths and find the right way. (Jeremiah 6:16)

Fifthly, God will not tolerate the uncircumcised of heart in His house. Ezekiel 44:7-13)

Sixthly, there can be no worship if the name of Baalim be on our lips. "God is saying "My true worshippers will never again speak of, let alone do those things that represent the old life and former idols" Hosea 2:17
Finally, it all comes down to our love for Christ, "If any man love the world, or the things that are in the world, the love of the Father is not in him". (1 John 2:15)

If we are going to line up with God, we need to stand up against rock, help pray it down, and refuse to support any Christian performer or group or station who continues pushing it.

Heavy-metal rock music can trap people, especially teenagers" into dabbling in disgraceful Satanic practices. For example, we denounce Rock star Ozzy Osborne's tune SUICIDE SOLUTION:

"Wine is fine but whiskey's quicker Suicide is slow with liquor Suicide is the only way out, Don't you know what it's really about?"

Question: Is my rock group in this?
Answer: Yes, if they are into Pop, Rock (soft, hard, heavy, alternative, etc), Funk, Rap.


SUBMISSION VS. REBELLION

The real battle is not about a musical generation gap, it's about SUBMISSION vs. REBELLION. Submission is the hallmark of the Christian life. Without it, all you have is counterfeit spirituality. To resist the devil, you must first be submitted to God (James 4:7). Since Rock fans aren't truly submitted, they'll never be able to resist Satan, no matter how often they sing "To Hell With the Devil" (by Stryper). That is why these young people are in bondage to pornography, and fornication, witchcraft, lust, and drugs. They refuse to submit and to surrender all their hearts to GOD. They continue to fill their mind with the sensual and devilish beat and rhythm of Rock.

The classic hymns so despised by youth today were all about SUBMISSION.
That's why carnal Christians want no part of them.

Songs like: "Washed In The Blood," "Haven of Rest", "Jesus Paid It All", "To God Be The Glory", "Lord, I'm Coming Home", "Victory in Jesus", "Have Thine Own Way, Lord", "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross",

"Take My Life And Let It Be", "I Surrender All", "Jesus Is All The World To Me",. These are all songs of SUBMISSION. Here's a lyrical example from just one of them:

"Have thine own way, Lord/Have thine own way/thou art the potter/I am the clay/Mold me and make me/After thy will/while I am waiting/Yielded and still..."
