Bring Everything To God

What do you do when somebody tries to harm you? What is your response when you hear good news? Who do you turn to when you are unsure of the future, or when you have wronged someone else?

No matter what the circumstances of your life, your first response in all these situations should be to seek God through prayer.

If you are under attack or being accused of wrongdoing, resist the urge to lash back in anger. Turn to God in prayer and ask Him to give you a spirit of peace and forgiveness.

If you have received some great news like the arrival of a child or a new job, don’t just celebrate with your friends and family. Remember to give thanks to the One who supplies all good things!

If you are unsure of the days ahead, don’t toss and turn all night, stressing over the uncertainty. Seek God’s guidance in prayer and through His Word, and find peace and comfort through His Holy Spirit.

And if you have wronged another, ask God to forgive you of your sin and pray for the strength and integrity to approach the other person with a repentant heart.

Through everything that happens to you in life, whether good or bad, God wants you to communicate with Him in prayer. So pray deeply, pray earnestly and pray constantly in all circumstances!

Dear God, thank You that You are always listening to my prayers. Teach me to talk to You about everything on my heart, and help me have faith that You will respond according to Your perfect plan for my life!
