| Walking leisurely one quiet winter day
Through frozen paths of snow,
A sight came suddenly into reach
In its grand and vast array.
Mountains splendored, towering heights
A bustling city at its base,
Birds were soaring on the wind
So many awe-inspiring sights.
I stopped next to a frozen tree
To touch its icy bough,
And let my gaze wander over God's delight
My soul open, wide and free.
Songs of praise burst within my heart
And filled my spirit with esteem,
I praised the Lord for His majesty
His brilliant entity of art.
My gaze beheld His wonderous view
He came nearby and softly ensured,
Thank you for taking time to witness
What many others will not do.
How long I stood there, I didn't know
And I did not want to leave,
That spectacular sight of God's occurrence
Was mine for a brief elating show. |

| Thank you Batman. I wrote it yesterday in about 5 minutes. It describes the experience I had with God during a walk I took last winter on a very cold day. It was so cool. God let me know that he actually appreciated my time with Him at that place I stood while I was admiring His awesome splendor. It was an experience I will never forget.

| Yiannis wonderful poem! I love this poem too. When I was reading your poem I could see Jesus walking with you the bright light of His glory shining behind Him. I am not eloquent and do not know how to give an awe inspiring comment just one from my heart that it was so beautiful that I could picture myself there and then looking up into the face of Jesus.
