Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Overcoming Temptation
Many people mistakenly believe it is a sin to be tempted. We know this can’t be the case, as Jesus Himself was tempted in Luke 4:1-3 – “Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil...”
This wasn't the only time Jesus was tempted, and that's why the writer of Hebrews was right in saying, “We do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin” (Hebrews 4:15).
To be tempted is not sin. Yielding to the temptation is the sin!
So how did Jesus handle temptations? When they came, He focused on His Father and what He had said in His Word, often quoting Scripture as a defence against the devil’s taunts.
Can you think of particular temptations that have caused you to stumble? Perhaps it’s greed, sexual sin, gossip or something else. Whatever it is that tempts you, you don’t need to give in! Trust in God and look to His Word to give you the spiritual strength you need to overcome temptations each time they arise.
Prayer for the day:
Almighty God, please give me the strength to look to You and to Your Word as I face trials and temptations in my life. Give me the wisdom and grace to live a life that is fully consecrated to You!
