Please pray for these Kids to be found alive

DENVER, N.C. (AP) — Two young children trapped when dirt fell on them at a home construction site Sunday were not expected to be found alive and crews expected to work through the night to recover their bodies, a fire official said.

A father of one of the children called 911 at about 6 p.m. to report what happened, said Lincoln County Emergency Services public information officer Dion Burleson. Crews were on the scene in minutes, but couldn't get to the 7-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl, Burleson said.

Crews used shovels and climbing gear trying to get to the children at the Denver neighborhood. Emergency personnel from several places, including nearby Charlotte, were on the scene late Sunday.

Video from WSOC-TV shows backhoes scooping dirt from a deep hole surrounded by dirt. Equipment surrounded the hole. Burleson said it is hard to estimate how far down the children might be.

The man who called was the father of at least one of the children, Burleson said. Neighbors told WBTV that the children were cousins.

This is "devastating for both the family members and responders who are on the scene," Burleson said. "This is a tragic night in Denver."

Lord Jesus I pray to you so you can protect these children and that you will keep them alive Amen.

Sadly they were found dead. It is just so sad to know they did not make it.

Please be in prayer for someone close to me who is contemplating suicide. I just got a message from someone concerning this young lady. She has come close to it before. We know that the enemy is out there tempting these ones to take that final exit. He won't win if we lift our families and friends and acquaintances up in prayer. Thank you.

Father God in the name of Jesus I come against this spirit of death that is on this young person and I cancel those lying thoughts that are telling this person how hated they are and how they do not matter. I command every spirit not of God to go Now back to where Jesus told them to go and not come back on them or anyone else. Lord that you would loose your deliverance power and bring this person out of the snare of the devil and bring truth them letting them hear your love coming to them in a new way and bring them peace now.
I bring to bear the blood of Jesus that would block anymore thoughts from the devil and that they would come out of this depression with Your Joy which is our strength. Lord give them a song in their heart. Just as the word of God says He sings songs of deliverance over me. Lord give them a new reason to live and love them back to life again.
