There are many devices [plans] in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand
Proverbs 19:21

Everyone has plans. You have a financial plan for your future. You have a plan for making your marriage work, for helping your children become the type of people you want them to become.

You should have a plan for your finances. If you are a husband or father, you should have a plan to care for your family, if you have an early death. You should also have a retirement plan.

Your plans may be good ones, but if you follow the plan of the Lord you are destined to succeed. God’s plan is the only plan that is stamped Satisfaction Guaranteed. When you walk on the road of obedience, you will find prosperity, but it starts with cancelling your plans and adopting God’s plan.
