| Honoring God By Pastor Andre Butler  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase Proverbs 3:9 Giving God of your substance and firstfruits—your tithes—is a matter of honoring and glorifying God. In other words, you honor God when you make out that check, place that money in the offering, or give it as an offering to someone else. When you sow a seed in somebody’s life, you are honoring God. You are showing Him that you believe He deserves respect and that you appreciate what He has done in your life. You are showing Him that you understand you have done nothing on your own, that everything you have is because His hand is involved in your life. | |
