| God Always Out-Gives You

There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway
Acts 10:1
Cornelius was praying. Cornelius was giving. So God opened the door for him to receive his salvation. God gave him the word of knowledge immediately. He told him where to find Simon, what house he was in, and the occupation of the person whose house he was in. Cornelius’ gift of prayer and giving came as a memorial before God.
Thus, Cornelius was the first centurion to become saved. He was the first centurion to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and speaking in other tongues. Because he was consistent in prayer and giving, God was able to bless him.
When you give constantly out of your love, God will make sure He out-gives you. He will see your gift of love and be so blessed by it that He will say, "I’ll give to him, too." | |
