Hosea 14:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
Hosea 14:7-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
7 My people will again live under my shade.
They will flourish like grain and blossom like grapevines.
They will be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon.
8 “O Israel, stay away from idols!
I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you.
I am like a tree that is always green;
all your fruit comes from me.”

7 When we under God’s grace and in His presence we grow and are blessed. This would happen to them again but exile would first come.
8 Israel would turn to idols again and then exile would come. God cares more for us then even we care for ourselves, nothing compares to the love God has for us. God hears and answers or prayers, this doesn’t mean He answers them as we want but in the way that is best. We are to be fruit growing on the Lord’s vine.
