Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

Where Are You “Watering”?
In 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, the Apostle Paul writes, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”
Whenever I read this verse, I’m reminded of when I was a young boy and my dad planted two small fruit trees around our house. After he planted them, he came in and said, “Kong, I planted these trees, but it’s going to be your responsibility to water them, to keep the worms away and to fertilize them regularly.”
So, just like my dad told me, I began tending to the trees daily, making sure they were watered, that the worms stayed away, and new fertilizer was placed around them every few months. It took several years, but finally, the two trees brought forth an abundance of fruit. They produced so much fruit, in fact, that we had to give boxes and boxes away!
What was the key to seeing this abundance of fruit? It was the act of plain old repetition! I had to water over and over again … get rid of worms over and over again … and fertilize over and over again. Those were the essential ingredients for the trees to grow!
If you want to really make an impact with your life, practice repetition. Be relentless in repeating the same God-honoring habits over and over again. When you do, you’ll be able to watch God give the increase more and more each day!
Prayer for the day:
Ask God to show you where you need to be repeatedly “watering” to spread the gospel among those around you. | |
