Hosea 13:4-6 King James Version (KJV)
4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
5 I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
Hosea 13:4-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
4 “I have been the LORD your God
ever since I brought you out of Egypt.
You must acknowledge no God but me,
for there is no other savior.
5 I took care of you in the wilderness,
in that dry and thirsty land.
6 But when you had eaten and were satisfied,
you became proud and forgot me.

4 God never changes, He is always the same and they needed to keep serving only Him and we need to do the same, He should be our only Lord.
5 God took them out of Egypt and cared for them while they were in the wilderness and still kept caring for them in the promise land, just as God cared for them so does He to us His children thru Jesus. He meets all our needs and is the answer for our good desires.
6 They were tempted to think that they didn’t need God because of how good they were. Many people turn to the Lord in hard times but few people keep turning to the Lord during the good times. We don’t need to stop seeking the Lord, in the good times, the times of blessing we need to be seeking Him even more.
