3 I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

3 It was I who taught •Israel [L Ephraim;4] to walk,
   and I took them by the arms,
but they did not •understand [oracknowledge]
   that I had healed them.
4 I led them with cords of •human kindness[humanity; orleather],
   with ropes of love.
I lifted •the yoke from their neck [orthem like a little child to my cheek]
   and bent down and fed them.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

3 Just as God showed Israel to walk thru His word His shows us as Christians how we are suppose to walk. God carries us and sometimes leads us like a child, we need this but like Israel often don’t think we do. We often care for more of what we want rather then care for what God has for us. We often think we did things on our own when we neglect God but He lead us the entire way just like He did with Israel.

4 Israel was being lead the entire even though they did not see it often times when we don’t see Him leading we think that He isn’t there anymore but He is always there and sometimes when we don’t see Him leading we just need to seek Him. God is loving and caring and wants us to follow Him so that we are blessed by His great will for us but if we go our own way He doesn’t forsake us but tries to pull us in the right direction.
