God gave me a dream and taught me about the price of complaining

I love this testimony of your dreams. I too have dreams like this. Here are two dreams that were two days apart from one another, but coincided.

First dream: I was in the jungles of Indonesia(where I was born). There was a house in the middle of the jungle. Between the house and the jungle was a cleared path where I stood. I remember seeing myself and how I stepped back to watch what was to transpire before my very eyes. The house was covered with vines and so much so that they practically covered the whole house. All of a sudden I viewed a lizard being chased by another much more larger lizard. When the second one caught up with the first they started to stand up on their hind legs and fight. They were so engrossed with fighting that they didn't see the dog who came upon them. The larger lizard began to swallow the smaller lizard and it was then that the dog began to swallow the larger lizard. What a sight to behold. The dog swallowing the large lizard, who was swallowing the smaller lizard.

Second dream: I was inside my house with all the lights on. It was dark outside. I was in my room when I stood up and looked outside. I saw my mother(who had passed away) standing there beckoning me to come out. I ran to the front door and opened it. All I saw was darkness while I cried out to my mother to come in. I felt the darkness beckoning me to come out and look for her, but the stronger light kept me inside and urged me to stay.

Interpretation: I shared these dreams with the elders of my church, but it was me the Lord used to interpret the dreams. The first dream was of the house in the jungle. The house represented the Church, the jungle the world, the vines, division and deception. The lizards represented the Believers who had been caught up in division so much so that they did not receive God's Word on the right way to deal with it. The dog, represented the enemy who comes to kill, steal, and destroy the Church.

The second dream was the house that was all lit up. The house represented Christ and the Church. My mother represented something familiar in my life. The darkness represented the enemy who used my weakness of the love for my mother to try and lure me out into the darkness.

A month after the dreams and interpretation of those dreams there was an elder who spread division within the church while Pastor and his wife were away on a one week mission trip. When Pastor came back, I was the one who shared this with him. No one else shared this even though they knew. The Lord had given me the dream and in so doing I was prepared to pray for the church. I also was on my guard and thus not drawn into this deception even though the brothers and sisters were all so familiar to me. They were my friends. There was a meeting after this, and the brother who had caused this division took with him half of our church. It was hard on us all. My best friend was the elder's wife. However, we became stronger and more resilient through it all, and the enemy did not defeat us. We are still strong.

Amazing how God warns us and will use us to help our churches. God bless you Mary Amelia the Lord truly has His hand on you for the end times as well as now.
