For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills. A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
Deuteronomy 8:7-9

What was so great about this promise? There was no lack in the promised land.

God brought the Israelites out of Egypt with silver and gold, but they had to learn how to be good stewards over their money while in the dessert.

They ran out of water, so God provided a miracle and they received water. They ran out of bread, and God provided another miracle. During entire forty years that they were in the wilderness, their clothes didn't wear out. They lived from miracle to miracle. They always had just enough water, just enough bread, and just enough clothes.

God says that when you get into the promised land, you will graduate from having miracles to having blessings. You are going to graduate from having just enough to having abundance. You won't lack one thing in the land.
