Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Intimacy With the Holy Spirit
(Some of these teaching is taken from "Drawing Near" by John Bevere)
The Role of the Holy Spirit is communion.
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen." 2 Corinthians 13:13-14
Communion can be defined in five ways.
1. Fellowship: The Holy Spirit is your constant companion...
The Holy Spirit was the Apostle Paul's constant companion though all his journeys. He would reveal things to Paul and direct his path in each city that he went to. (Acts 16:6-7; 20:20-23)
The Holy Spirit spoke to Phillip in the middle of the desert and told him to overtake the chariot, and Phillip ministered and brought the man to the Lord. (Acts 8:29)
The Holy Spirit spoke to Peter and told him that three men were seeking him and that he should arise and go to them. (Acts 10:19-20)
2. Sharing Together: The Holy Spirit reveals intimate things...
Sharing together is the exchanging of thoughts and feelings. With our closest friends we share the deep and intimate things of our heart. When you do that you make yourself vulnerable. The Holy Spirit shares the deep, intimate secrets He has with people who fear Him.
3. Partnership: The Holy Spirit is your partner...
"For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us" Acts 15:28
"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood." Acts 20:28
This verse shows all three persons of the trinity involved in the church. The Holy Spirit empowered them as overseers. God is the Father and the church belongs to Him. Jesus purchased us with His blood.
1 Corinthians 3:9 says we are God's fellow workers.
4. Close Mutual Association: You are to be known by your association with the Holy Spirit
When you are strongly associated with someone, you begin to take on his or her thoughts and feelings. Their attitudes and values tend to become yours. The more closely you become associated with God, the more people will see your partnership with Him.
5. Intimacy: The Holy Spirit desires intimacy with you...
Intimacy speaks of communication which is the way to a strong friendship. The goal of communion is friendship.
"If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper that He may abide with you forever - The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it niether sees Him nor knows HIm; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you: John 14:15-18
"My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." 1 John 2:1
Jesus is saying that He is going to give the Holy Spirit as another helper just like Himself.
People say, "Oh if only I could have been there to talk to Jesus." Yet Jesus said it would be better for Him to go away. Why is it better? Jesus had physical limitations on earth. He was only one man; He could only speak to one person at a time. The Holy Spirit is available to everyone all the time all over the world.
Make it your goal to develop communion with the Holy Spirit daily. You can talk to Him throughout the day. You should expect Him to speak to you throughout the day. The Holy Spirit desires to commune with you regularly. Just talk to Him like you would to a close trusted friend. Ask Him questions. Tell Him your thoughts Ask Him for His opinions. Share your joys and struggles. When you read the Bible ask Him for insights and then wait quietly and listen to see what He says. When you struggle with a problem at work or at home ask Him for help. As you begin to do this regularly you will grow in communion. You will learn to discern His nudges, and avoid mistakes and solve your problems quicker. You will also experience the joy of His presence.
