Hosea 4:1-3

Hosea 4:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
4 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood touched blood.
3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelled therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

4 ¶ Hear the word of the LORD, ye sons of Israel; for the LORD contends with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the earth.
2 By swearing and lying and murdering and stealing and committing adultery, they prevailed, and blood touches blood.
3 Therefore the earth shall mourn, and every one that dwells therein shall be cut off, with the beasts of the field and the fowls of heaven; and even the fishes of the sea shall be caught.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

1 The problem God always has is our relationship with which is effected most negatively by our own sins. They had love for their sin but none for God. They served others things than God who gave them all they had. We do not need to let anything come between us and God otherwise we will be in the place they had fallen.

2 These actions are not actions of God’s people, they no longer knew God to know how He wanted them to act, we can not truly understand what God wants from us until we learn who God is to the extant we can by knowing Him as Lord.

3 The covenant God made with Israel was based on them following the law and He to receive His blessings, God will not continue to bless us as we turn away from Him, their blessings would soon be going away because of them missing using them, using them for sin.
