Hosea 2:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15 And I will give her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
Hosea 2:14-15Expanded Bible (EXB)
14 “So I am going to •attract [allure; woo] her;
I will lead her into the •desert [wilderness; as in the Exodus, when God rescued Israel from slavery and cared for her;
and speak tenderly to her.
15 There I will give her back her vineyards,
and I will make the Valley of •Trouble a door of hope.
There she will •respond [or sing] as •when she was young in the days of her youth,
as when she came out of Egypt.”

14 Wilderness was a place for testing but also a place of wandering and could be a place where you could feel the closeness of God John served God in the wilderness and Jesus was ministered to by angels in the wilderness as well as Israel was cared for by God for forty years in the wilderness.
15 God wanted things back the way they were when they relied on Him, followed Him, believed Him. When they came out of Egypt they were fully dependent on him because they had nothing but people and animals that needed god would provide.
