Lying on my face, crying in deep despair. Then a voice spoke a word into my heart saying
"Maybe Jesus really did die for your sins", and faith arose, and instantly the depression
and despair vanished, hope arose, and all the big questions of my life were answered in a
moment. Only later did I learn this is being "born again". I have never been the same since.
God wants us to need Him and when you make that commitment He loves it. You did and
He has taken good care of you and your wife ever since. Because you love Him as He loves
you. Thank you (((Vagabond)))
I accepted Jesus as a youth and read the bible a couple of times before I started really
going to church and learning more about the Word however I learned more by watching
good teachers on TV(((Golfer)))

I was living a depressing hopeless life filled with fear, worry, guilt,
understanding i was a failure and person inclined to sin, selfishness,
and unable to change by myself to be better,
but tempted to do more evil.

We had a day of Pentecost that Sunday morning
The power of the Holy Spirit touched 54 people who came forward to accept Christ as their Savior. The average attendance was about 120 people | |
