Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Titus 3:9-11
King James Version (KJV)
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
Fred Miller's Revised King James' Version
9But avoid foolish questions and genealogies and contentions and strivings about the law for they are unprofitable and vain. 10A man who is a heretic after the first and second admonition reject, 11Knowing that he who is such is subverted and sins, being condemned of himself.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
9 There are many controversies in the church today and it is easy to focus on the controversies but often when doing this we take our focus of Jesus. We do not have to be Jewish, there were those that said you had to become Jewish or be circumcised, Titus was one of the uncircumcised and viewed by these people as unworthy of God’s love but, no one is unworthy of God’s love. The church often divides itself many different reasons, sometimes it is doctrine that divides us other time it is disagreements. We as the church should be one because we are one in the faith but even though these divisions will happen because we are faulted. Nothing good come from these divisions that could not be done with us being done together, even though Paul separated with Barnabas they were still one in their faith.
10 There are going to be those who all they try is to cause division and trouble, if the issue is important we may need to listen to them if it is in line with His word but that is not who it is talking about it is talking about those who are trying to bring down other and elevate themselves and cause others to fight their were divisions against things of the word Paul was once divided against Peter because of their view on Gentiles, this ma have came up more than once but God handled it. If the division because of something like this God will take care of it like He did with Peter those that truly follow Jesus will know when they were in the wrong and then will do what they can to make things right.
11 There are those that just cause trouble these people are not following God but following their selves or something else. They will answer for their sins if they do not come to Christ.

| Hi Clark ,
I like the Message translation it brings the point out right away. I use the KJV to memorize scriptures but it hard to understand all that needs to be said.
God is so wise not wanting us to take too much time with those who are rebellious and are not interested in Jesus Christ and are rebellious in all ways. We can walk away and let them go. God can deal with them and it is off our conscience that we needed to go further. Those who like to argue waste ourt time.
Titus 3:9-11 The Message (MSG) 8-11 I want you to put your foot down. Take a firm stand on these matters so that those who have put their trust in God will concentrate on the essentials that are good for everyone. Stay away from mindless, pointless quarreling over genealogies and fine print in the law code. That gets you nowhere. Warn a quarrelsome person once or twice, but then be done with him. It’s obvious that such a person is out of line, rebellious against God. By persisting in divisiveness he cuts himself off. | |
