9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

9 Paul wrote about slaves but we can use this being workers. We as workers should listen to our boss as long as it is not against Him and His word. We should not try to do the least we can but be dependable and not cause trouble and not complain every time we are asked to do something but be willing to work.

10 We need to do a good job at work to show we serve Him and be different than those of the world. We as Christians should serve Christ by doing our work with our best efforts. We need to not only live as Christian at church and among believers but live as a Christian in our everyday walk including the work place.

Godly advice , and a timely message for me ,as i have recently started a new job , and will take this onboard as i proceed ,.
It says to me that work can be manifestation of our walk with God , and giving of our labour ,we can show others encouragement , by not grumbling at our labours , but show enthusiasm , shining a light for Christ in whatever we do .
I know myself , that working a day with someone that complains and is negative , it takes twice as much effort to do the work set me ,and time goes so slow .
It also reminds me of what my pastor said once , that Preach the word unceasingly , and when necessary talk .
So we are to be "lights in a darkening world ," as representatives of Jesus .
