Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Alexander the Great was really mighty. King of Macedon between 356 and 323BC he conquered Persia, Egypt, Syria, Mesopotamia, Afghanistan, and the Punjab. One day a beggar by the roadside asked for alms from him as he passed by. The man was poor and wretched and had no claim upon the ruler. Yet the Emperor threw him several gold coins. A soldier was astonished at his generosity and commented, "Sir, copper coins would adequately meet beggar's need. Why give him gold?"
Alexander responded in royal fashion, "Copper coins would suit the beggar's need, but gold coins suit Alexander's giving".
Sounds like our loving God, doesn’t it? He didn’t give us what we deserve. Rather, your heavenly Father is far more gracious and willing to give to you than you are willing to ask, think or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20) He desires above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
Let God be God, His gifts are never ordinary but super ordinary, for He is one and only super ordinary God.

| Amen to that brother John M. I love how you shared with us the heart of King of Macedon between 356 and 323BC. It shows how he thought of himself and of the beggar.
I have always been taught that God is generous and He wants to give His kids wonderful amazing gifts. He gave us Jesus as Savior and He is more costly then gold as the songs says. He gave us the Holy Spirit to indwell us and teach and lead us in the way we should go and He always points us back to Jesus Christ. God will meet our every need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. As we do His work God meets our needs. As we step out in faith to do more God meets our needs. Almighty God wants to give us more the we ever can imagine. If we even remember the Prodigal Son that went away and took his birth right with him and squandered what riches his father gave him till one day he was poor and was hungry and was eating out of the pigs sty and he suddenly remembered he could go home because his father fed the slaves that worked the land better then he was eating now. He came home and he was not sure how his Father would treat him so he humbled himself and came home crying that he was so foolish and he had spent all that he had and he was sorry for not seeing that he had it very good at home. His Father did not mistreat him but called for expensive robes to be brought to him and he put a ring of great worth on his finger and he hugged him close to him and he said, Son you were once lost but look you have come home and I want to rejoice and call all the neighbors in to see my son has come home and I am richer because of it. This too is how God feels when we come back to Him when we have left him for the riches of the world. We can come back to Him and He rushes to us and He hugs us so tight to Him and tells us you were lost but now you are found. I am rejoicing to see you back with Me.
I rejoice in this Christian forum that provides us with a safe place to share our faith and how God loves us and how he has given us so much and we can shout it from the housetops that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Thank you John for sharing all that you have. God has really anointed you and is showing all how wonderful you are since Jesus came to live inside you and gave you "A Life Worth Living". God bless you.

| Praise God and thank you both for sharing. I truly was blessed by both messages. I love how the Body can come together in a way that there is no distance in the Spirit. Allow me to share my favorite all time Psalm.
Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore. |

| Never a day goes by that I marvel just how much my Lord loves and guides me. To know He loves me enough to willingly lay down His life so I can be with Him in Heaven. My favorite poem always comforts and blesses my soul when I know how much He suffered to redeem me from sin.
Still He Walked
He could hear the crowds screaming "crucify" "crucify"... He could hear the hatred in their voices, these were His chosen people. He loved them, And they were going to crucify Him. He was beaten; bleeding and weakened... His heart was broken, but still He walked. He could see the crowd as He came from the palace. He knew each of the faces so well. He had created them. He knew every smile, laugh, and shed tear, but now they were contorted with rage and anger... His heart broke, but still He walked. Was He scared? You and I would have been. So His humanness would have mandated that He was. He felt alone. His disciples had left, denied, and even betrayed Him. He searched the crowd for a loving face and He saw very few. Then He turned His eyes to the only One that mattered and He knew that He would never be alone. He looked back at the crowd, at the people who were spitting at Him, throwing rocks at Him and mocking Him and He knew that because of Him, they would never be alone. So for them, He walked. The sounds of the hammer striking the spikes echoed through the crowd. The sounds of His cries echoed even louder, The cheers of the crowd, as His hands and feet were nailed to the cross, intensified with each blow. Loudest of all was the still small voice inside His heart that whispered "I am with you, My Son", And God's heart broke. He had let His Son walk. Jesus could have asked God to end His suffering, but instead He asked God to forgive. Not to forgive Him, but to forgive the ones who were persecuting Him. As He hung on that cross, dying an unimaginable death, He looked out and saw, not only the faces in the crowd, but also, the face of every person yet to be, and his heart filled with love. As His body was dying, His heart was alive. Alive with the limitless, unconditional love He feels for each of us. That is why He walked. When I forget how much My God loves me, I remember His walk. When I wonder if I can be forgiven, I remember His walk. When I need to be reminded of how to live like Christ, I think of His walk. And to show Him how much I love Him, I wake up each morning, turn my eyes to Him, And I walk. -- Carrie McCutcheon Abundant Blessings, Linda |
