Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Kong Hee Ministries Serving At The Altar I once heard a story that years ago, a rich and famous man took his first-class seat on a flight that was several hours long. As he sat back and began to doze off, a screaming child several rows behind woke him. He sat up, looked back and asked the cabin crew if he could go help. "Sure," the flight attendant said. So the rich man disappeared into economy section for about 10 minutes and returned without any further disturbance from the child in the back. "Thank you for doing that for us, sir," said the flight attendant. The man quickly replied, "I did it for the child." Serving is often a thankless task. But, as we look at the Scriptures, we see as believers served others, one key characteristic of their service was that it was done with God's glory in mind. Take Christ's death on the cross, for example. Now, in a very real way, Jesus served us on the cross. But more importantly, He served God by surrendering first and foremost to the will of the Father (Mark 14:36). This kind of selfless attitude can only happen when we see our service as worship … when we build our altar in our hearts and commit to serving God there first. Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:40 that whenever we've served those in need, "you did it to Me." Seek to serve God by serving others. Prayer for the day: Ask Jesus to show you how to lay yourself down at your heart's altar and serve the Father just as He did. | |
