Understanding Your Spiritual Position

There is usually a big map at every escalator in a shopping mall that shows you which stores are available on each level.

In order to help you find your way around, there is always an arrow or a red dot that clearly states, “YOU ARE HERE!” Because when you know your location, you can find your direction!

Similarly, locating where you are spiritually is vital if you’re to discover your God-given destiny and direction in life.

There are more than 140 Scriptures in the Bible that are meant to help you “locate” who you are and what you have IN CHRIST! It’s so important that we meditate on Scriptures like the ones below so we can become who He has called us to be.

Colossians 2:9-10 tells us: “For IN HIM dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete IN HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.”

Second Corinthians 2:14 says: “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph IN CHRIST, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”

Second Corinthians 5:21 states: “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God IN HIM.”

And Paul in Romans 8:37 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors THROUGH HIM who loved us.”

Friend, meditate on God’s Word today and dare to believe it! You are powerless to live righteously outside of Christ, but IN HIM you are a new creation made righteous, and you will bear much fruit for His glory!
