Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Don't Accept the Evil Report By Larry Ollison
God used Moses to lead the Hebrews out of the bondage of Egypt and into the Promised Land. As they neared the land of Canaan that God had given to them, Moses was told to send one representative from each of the twelve tribes to spy out the land. Among these twelve spies was the son of Jephunneh from the tribe of Judah, whose name was Caleb, and from the tribe of Ephraim, the son of Nun, whose name was Joshua.
Moses gave the twelve spies specific directions. He told them to head south and go up into the mountains. From there they should spy out the land to see what the people in the land looked like. He wanted to know how many there were and if they appeared to be strong or weak. He also wanted them to find out whether the land was good or bad and if their cities were like strongholds. He further instructed them to determine whether the land was rich or poor and whether or not there were forests. He told the twelve spies to have great courage and to bring back some of the fruit from the land because it was the time of the year for grapes to be ripe.
So, the spies did as they were told: they spied out the land from the Wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob which is near the entrance of Hamath. As they came up through the south, they came to Hebron and some of the other cities where the descendants of Anak were. Then as they came through the valley of Eshcol, they cut down one cluster of grapes that was so large it took two men to carry it between them on a pole. For forty days they spied out the land, then returned to give the report to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the children of Israel.
They stood before the people and gave good news. They said, "The land truly flows with milk and honey." Then they displayed the grapes and the fruit they had brought back.
But then their report changed. They said the people who dwelt in the land were strong and the cities were large and fortified. It was a land of giants and the people who lived there made them feel like grasshoppers in their sight.
Then Joshua quieted the people and proclaimed that they should immediately go into the land and take it just as God had told them to do. There was great division. Ten of the spies spoke fear saying that taking the land was impossible. Two of the spies (Joshua and Caleb) proclaimed the promise of God. They said that the land God had promised, He was faithful and able to deliver into their hands. But the children of Israel believed the negative report. They believed in their hearts and confessed with their mouths that they could not go into the Promised Land because of the giants (Numbers 13-14).
Israel eventually moved into the Promised Land, but it was forty years later. The words spoken by those believing the evil report came to pass and none of them who were above the age of twenty at that time entered into the Promised Land. The ten spies who gave the evil report and all of the adults who believed it, died in the wilderness during the forty years. But Joshua and Caleb moved into the Promised Land with a new generation of Israelites. Joshua became the leader and Caleb inherited all the land of Hebron (Joshua 14:14).
Now this Old Testament story simply reveals and further amplifies a principle of faith and confession: what they believed and spoke is what they received.
When you are told that it is impossible for you to break free from the bondage of depression and despair, do not believe the evil report but believe and receive the fullness of the blessing that God has for you. What God has promised you, He is fully capable of having it come to pass in your life. But the spiritual key that unlocks the blessing is this: what you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth is what you will receive. Don't accept the evil report!
