Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

When to Fight and When to be Still

Sometimes God expects us to fight the good fight and sometimes he expects us to do something a bit different. This 1-minute devotion explains. #BibleLoveNotes #Bible
In Exodus 14, the Israelites were panic-stricken. They were sure the approaching Egyptians would kill them. There was nothing they could do.
Moses gave them these commands (verses 13-14): 1. Do not be afraid. 2. Stand firm. 3. You need only to be still.
We know the rest of their story. They walked across the Red Sea on dry ground.
Sometimes, like the Israelites, our faith is under attack and there's nothing we can do. During those times, we should:
1. Refuse to be afraid. Trust God's presence (Isaiah 41:10).
2. Stand firm. Trust God's unseen purposes (Hebrews 11:1).
3. Be still. Trust God's abilities, not our own (Psalm 37:7; Psalm 40:1; Psalm 46:10; Lamentations 3:26).
The key is found in verse 14: "The Lord himself will fight for you."
Many situations require our active involvement and we must obey God's command to fight the good fight (1 Timothy 6:12). Other times we should deal with our fears, hold tight to our faith, be still, and let God do the fighting.
Dear Lord, give us wisdom to know when to fight and when to be still. | |
