Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

When Jesus went into the spiritual Holy of Holies and put His blood on the mercy seat, He was glorified. In the same way that it is appointed for man to die once and then the judgment, Jesus went in and made the ultimate sacrifice with His blood once, and it was done forever. "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation" (Hebrews 9:27-28). Why does it say apart from sin? Because upon entering the holy place, Jesus bore all our sins, but when we see Him again, He'll be apart from sin. Our sins no longer exist! First John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." It doesn't say the sin is hidden or pushed to the side. We're cleansed from all sin, completely cleansed. The Bible even provides a parallel between the spiritual and the physical. It's in Leviticus Chapter 16. "And he shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats as a sin offering, and one ram as a burnt offering. Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house. He shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. "Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat. And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord's lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering. But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness. "And Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull as the sin offering which is for himself. Then he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before the LORD, with his hands full of sweet incense beaten fine, and bring it inside the veil. And he shall put the incense on the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the Testimony, lest he die. "He shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times. Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil, do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat. "So he shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, for all their sins; and so he shall do for the tabernacle of meeting which remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness." (Leviticus 16:5-16) There were four basic things that happened when the earthly priest made sacrifice on the Day of Atonement. 1. There was the sin offering for the priest himself. 2. There was the casting of lots between two goats. 3. The chosen goat was sacrificed. 4. The other goat was released into the wilderness as the scapegoat for the sins of the people. The word "scapegoat" we use today is actually a biblical term. In the Old Testament, God gave Moses the procedure found in Leviticus chapter 16. Therefore, Jesus was required to shed His blood for the remission of the sins He carried for us. But on the third day, Jesus, the sinless priest, did what the Levitical priests could never do. He carried His blood into the heavenly Holy of Holies where it was accepted as the sacrificial blood, once and for all. Notice in verse 13, it says if Aaron (or any priest) didn't perform the ritual in the manner God ordained it, he was a dead man. Dealing with sin was a life and death situation. The things God told the children of Israel to do were types and shadows of what was to come. | |
