Hose 14:4-6

Hosea 14:4-6 King James Version (KJV)

4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

Hosea 14:4-6 New Living Translation (NLT)

4 The LORD says,
“Then I will heal you of your faithlessness;
my love will know no bounds,
for my anger will be gone forever.
5 I will be to Israel
like a refreshing dew from heaven.
Israel will blossom like the lily;
it will send roots deep into the soil
like the cedars in Lebanon.
6 Its branches will spread out like beautiful olive trees,
as fragrant as the cedars of Lebanon.

4 When we turn back to the Lord from sin, when we come to faith as believers, He pours so much love out on us that He has been wanting to but our sin has prevented Him from doing that instead our sin had caused His anger but by grace we can turn from our sin to His grace and love.

5 God was intending to bless Israel more then ever before just as if they turned back to Him. To have a blessed life with Him we just have to turn to the cross and grace found thru Jesus, with Him we are far blessed beyond anything this world could ever bring us.

6 We are blessed because of Israel as Christians because Jesus came thru Israel and God had promised and had planned.
