Extended Time in Prayer
By Pastor Andre Butler

And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone
Matthew 14:23

It is time for mature saints of God to make a practice of spending extended time in prayer. When you're first saved, it's good to start with fifteen minutes of prayer a day, but you need to increase the time you spend with the Father.

The pastor of one of the largest churches in South Korea prays two to three hours a day. The average member of that church spends an hour and a half a day in prayer, and they lead busy lives just like you. It is no coincidence that these people are blessed and have reached the whole country.

Breakthroughs do not happen only when you get up and pray three hours on Sunday. Breakthroughs happen when commit to spending quality time with God, when you become like Jesus in your prayer life.
