Jesus' Purpose: Consolidate the Found
By Pastor Andre Butler
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren
Luke 22:31-32

Satan is the accuser. He uses tests and trials to agitate and test you to see if you are real.

Jesus saw Peter's situation in His spirit and prayed for Peter before the trouble came. When you see the devil messing in someone's life, do you tell that person, "I have prayed for you"? Christian, you must pray things through before Satan has a chance to shake things up!

Peter had been with Jesus. He thought he was established, but he was going to fall away. However, as a result of Jesus' prayers and Peter's decision, Peter strengthened [his] brethren when he reverted back to what he was.

Jesus won the lost, consolidated the found and He established those He won, and that is what you are to do.
