What Can Spirit filled Believers Do When They Are Discouraged?

GOD DID NOT GIVE YOU A SPIRIT OF DISCOURAGEMENT!


2 Timothy 1:7
But my God has not given me a spirit of fear ( my version) doubt, discouragement, unbelief) but of power, love and a sound mind.


How Does Discouragements Come To A Believer?

Jesus said we are not to take the wrong thoughts of the enemy. Remember the devil drops the wrong thoughts into our minds and if you are not paying attention your mind will automatically think on the wrong thoughts and the start to think it is true because the devil is clever enough to make it sound like us.

Jesus also told us that the devil only comes to steal from us,try to kill us and to try to destroy us. He could really get to us if we allow discouragement to grow inside us.

We are never ever to allow that to stay in our hearts and minds without even fighting the good fight of Faith.

When discouragements come get up and tell the devil No you Don't!I belong to Jesus Christ how dare you touch  me. I bring to bear the blood of Jesus and I come  against these lies that my loving God would give me anything evil. I cancel  that assignment to try to make me believe it but I have the mind of Christ and I hold the thoughts and feeling and purposes of His heart. Just as Jesus was in the world so am I. I give Glory to You God for taking this lie from my mind. I will stand against it
forever. For I am a child of God and a prayer warrior against the powers of darkness. I do not believe the lies of the devil.

Be careful that you do not swallow his lies and speak them out of your mouth.

=If you have you need only to repent to the Lord God & ask Him to forgive you.

   so great is his love for those who fear him;

   so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Do not receive the lie that God would ever put on you discouragements of any kind.
It say in His word that He does not give us a spirit of fear so why would He turn around and give you a spirit of discouragements.

No that is a lie from hell and if you have received that lie repent now and ask God who loves us to forgive your believing the lies of the devil.
And He will immediately forgive you and forget you ever believed wrong.

God cannot teach you anything if your are discourage and He would not do that to us He wants us full of His joy and peace and happiness not discouraged because when we are and do not take autority over it we are a target for Satan.

The enemy is ever watchful to bring us down because he knows that if we are discouraged we will walk away or turn inward and feel guilty.
When discouragements come be aware that the devil has brought a single thought into your mind to bring you down. Look no further than Satan being the one that did it.

So now what do we do to break this idea in our head and we did something wrong to get to where we are now weary in the fight for Jesus, discouraged and sensing we cannot make it anymore.

We are told to turn to our weapons start praising the Lord and keep on praising Him till the mood is broken. You may not feel like praising the Lord but that is the very time you need to put praise music on and dance before the Lord.

The bible says "Weeping may endure for a night but Joy comes in the morning". We do not have to settle for discouragements. God did not bring that on us but the devil did to stop us and to make us think we are not anointed anymore by God.

That is a lie from the pit of hell and we need to right then take out our sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Start confessing your Faith scriptures that you memorized or that you have on a sheet.

Show the devil that you were not sleeping, that when you realized he had crossed over into the territory of your mind that you are not allowing him to stay not one minute longer.

If you pray in tongues begin to allow the prayer language to flow freely out of your mouth. He will not recognize what you are praying because it is unto God but then the Holy SPirit will be sending out the ministering spirits to fight your battles and to send the devik and his cohorts to flee !!!!

Inside of you there is power from on high from God.

Put on the armor of God and say what each piece means and then go to your prayer language again praying in the Holy Spirit till you receive a song in tongues that means that the warfare is over and you have won the battle by yielding your vocal cords to the Holy Spirit.

Romans 12: 1 says to renew our minds with the word of God. How do we do that by reading the bible and studying it and also by confessing the scriptures that have to do with fears.


God tells us not to fear and to trust wholly in Him. For He is our fortress, our Refuge and High Tower.

He has given His angels charge over us to keep us in all His ways. Psalms 91 :11.

Do not attribute discouragements to anything but from the enemy.
When you try to say it is from God that is a lie.  you will keep it a whole lot
longer then if you had run the devil off with the word of God and the blood of Jesus.

Learn to memorize key scriptures to confess at the devil our loud and then watch how fast he goes when you begin saying in the name of Jesus devil I recognize you and you have not fooled me I know who you are and now you know who I am too.

Devil I  am your worst nightmare. From now on when you bring me your lies I am going to send you back where you came from with the sword of the Spirit and you will not stay long. Now get out of here in the name of Jesus. I have authority over you and you have to go because there is no name above heaven that is higher the Jesus Christ.
Now go now! Start praising the Lord saying "Glory be go God in the highest" and clap your hand with your hands up high in the air. say it over and over again.

Shout out Hallelujah! over and over again. 'Then sing some songs about Jesus. Put on some praise music and worship music and allow the Lord to comfort you and bring you peace that passes all understanding to guard your mind and your
thoughts. And then dance around the room if no one is there and saying You are my God I love you Lord Jesus.
