Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| O God, you are my God, and I long for you. My whole being desires you; like a dry, worn-out, and waterless land, my soul is thirsty for you. (Psalm 63:1)
Do you thirst for God like David did when he wrote Psalm 63? If you do, then you have submitted to the will of God and now the power of His Spirit does not allow you to remain stagnant. You do not feel satisfied at the middle of your upward journey. You want more, and you will feel unsettled until you reach the top, where God’s face is revealed, where you’re filled and overflowing with His perfect love, and His awesome glory shines on you.
You can feel the intensity of the psalmist's desire for God. Recall the last time you went without water for a long time and how thirsty you felt. Everyone has a deep need for God and sadly, too few realize this.
Many people live their lives in emptiness because they do not abide in God, nor does He in them. They search for fulfillment and joy in the wrong places and wonder why they aren't being satisfied. People look for peace, happiness and a sense of satisfaction in food, television, relationships, sports, attaining earthly goals, drugs and many other areas. Few humans know that real joy, freedom and completeness come when we seek God and find Him.
God wants you to seek Him earnestly and diligently. Your mind needs to be always focused on God. You must be in constant communion with Him. The Word of God tells us we should pray without ceasing -1 Thessalonians 5:17, Luke 18:1-8-. For this to happen, you must desire God enough for your mind to be concentrated on Him all the time. We know that His love is better than life (Psalm 63:3), that He created us, takes care of us, loves us with an eternal love, a love that exceeds any form of earthly love, and is calling us to Him. God longs to be united with our spirit. He is calling you all of the time! Still some of you say, “Wait God, not now…let me save up enough money, get settled in life, then when my mind is at peace, we’ll spend some time…”
Or, “When I find some spare time somewhere during my busy day, I’ll speak to you.” Those who live in the world and are also of the world do not see the importance of finding God. About the spiritual man, the worldly man would ask himself, “Why do these men spend so much time in prayer, fasting and ministry, when there’s so much to accomplish? How does it benefit them? Perhaps I’ll seek God when I’ve lived my life and I’m a tired and weak old man…”
Some set out to achieve their daily tasks and goals in life and forget Who gives them strength, sustains them and holds the very air they breathe. All the time, God is calling out to His children who He loves with an eternal love. God is telling us that if we go after Him with an insatiable desire to know and love Him, with perseverance and having pure faith, we would find Him, and He will reward us greatly (Hebrews 11:6).
The truth is you cannot begin to earnestly seek God if He hasn't first called you. Also, if you prioritize things of the earth, how can you hear if He is calling?
Many people want to become prosperous first and then seek God. They want to find the right person, get married, and then seek God. They have their ambitions in life and they put them before God. They tell Him to wait. But if we seek God first, and seek Him diligently, we will find Him, and all other good things would be added on to us. He will make everything work for our best interest. He would bring us walk the path that would keep us safe from the enemy, from suffering and destruction. Finding God and deepening our unity with Him brings us the greatest joy in life. The more God abides in us, the more we hate the nature of the flesh that imprisoned us. Let us aspire to love the Most Holy God, our Father and Creator with all our hearts, souls and minds, and let us seek Him earnestly. |
