Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met | Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille | God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.
Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

| Understanding the New Covenant
The Word of God shows us how the New Covenant differs from the Old Covenant.
In the Old Testament, the Israelites understood that killing an animal and applying the blood was the way God ratified covenants.
But in the New Testament, we are under a different set of rules. Hebrews 8:6 says the New Covenant is a better covenant. That doesn't mean the Old Covenant is gone, because Jesus didn't come to destroy the Old Testament law. He came to fulfill it (Matt. 5:17). Through fulfilling it, He redeemed us from the curse of it.
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill" (Matt. 5:17).
Any time you enter into a contract, for example, the selling of a house, both the buyer and the seller sign the contract. The contract is not binding and valid until both parties involved have signed and completed the transaction.
It's the same way concerning the promises of the New Covenant. God has already ratified the contract with the blood of Jesus. The only ones left to sign the contract are those who choose to believe and accept the offer of salvation.
The Word of God doesn't say we must use the blood of bulls or goats under the New Covenant. The way we ratify our part of the covenant is with the words of our mouth spoken in faith. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus has already signed His portion of your contract with His blood, but you have to sign your portion with your words for it to be valid. To subscribe to The Cutting Edge Devotional, click here. All rights reserved. Used by permission.
