Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met
Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille
God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.

Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

PostSubject: more like Him   Sat May 20, 2017 2:35 pm

My oldest daughter, Monique, is studying at Unisa for she wants to be a teacher. Leandrie, our second child is in matric. She wishes to become a photographer.

Luan, now in grade seven wants to be a game ranger one day. When I was small I wanted to be a pastor. Just like us, I’m sure that each one of you have a dream of what you wish to be one day.

The other day, a friend of ours asked a group of teens what they wish to be. One’s answer touched my heart. He answered that he simply wishes to live till he’s 21. Our dreams might differ.

Some might have high expectations, wanting to become doctors, teachers or pilots while others simply hope that they will still be alive in a few years, will have something to eat and somewhere to sleep.

However, there is one dream we can share, one thing we should all desire and that is to become more like Jesus.

We should desire to be loving for Jesus loves. (Ephesians 5:2 and John 15:13)

We should be kind for Jesus is kind. (Luke 6:35).

We should show compassion for Jesus does.(Ephesians 4:32)

We should give for Jesus gives generously, even to the point of giving His life. (Mark 10:45)

We should serve others for Jesus humbly served. (John 13:5)

We should forgive for Jesus forgives. (Luke 23:24)

We should walk in truth for Jesus who is truth (John 14:6), remains truthful.

Whether or not we grow up to be a doctor or a lawyer, we can all grow up to be like Jesus. We are able to grow more like Him each day and become a representative of God to all in need.

Let us long to be like Him. Let us desire to be like Jesus. After all, that is more important than anything else.
