Do God's Work and all Your Needs will be Met
Fri May 23, 2014 12:22 am by Camille
God always provides for our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

As long as we are doing the work of the Lord God will always meet our needs. As long as we are pointing others to God, He will always see that you have plenty.

Do the work of the Lord share what you know from the bible and share your testimony of how you were healed or set free and God …

Hosea 11:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
6 And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
7 And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.

Hosea 11:5-7 Expanded Bible (EXB)

5 “•The Israelites will become captives again, as they were in [or Will they not return to…? or They will not return to]Egypt,
and •Assyria will[or will not Assyria…?] become their king,
because they refuse to turn back to God.
6 •War will sweep through [L A sword will slash/flash in]their cities
and will destroy •them [their gates;or their priests]
and •kill [devour]them because of their •wicked plans[counsels].
7 My people •have made up their minds [are determined]
to •turn away[desert; backslide]from me.
•The prophets call them to turn to me[or They call me Most High; or They call to Baal],
but •none of them honors me at all [orI will not exalt them; or he will never exalt them].

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

5 People went to Egypt the first time out of need for food this time it would be because of punishment. God brought them out of bondage but now they are returning to bondage because they refuse to return to Him. We should not return to the bondage of sin once we are freed thru Jesus, Paul also does a similar comparison to the law and who thru Christ we are free from the law and don’t need to bond to it again.

6 This would happen and they would not have the Lord fighting for them so they would fall.

7 They accepted Him as God but chose to serve other gods that pleased them they didn’t want to change the things they were doing they didn’t want to stop sinning, we are sinners but we are to live for Christ, they weren’t willing to have fellowship with the Lord and those who seek sin and try to seek God are where Israel was at this time and this idea always leads to fall.
