Knowing Jesus changes us
When we commit our lives to Christ, we become children of God.
We don’t know everything about our eternity – there are many unknowns (1 Corinthians 13:12). But we know it is going to be perfect and we are going to be perfect (Philippians 3:20-21).
But do you know how we become perfect?
By seeing Christ perfectly!
Looking into our Savior’s face will change us instantly because we’ll see Him as He really is.
"Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3:2
We start becoming like Jesus now (2 Corinthians 3:18), and that should be our highest goal in this present life (Philippians 3:10).
Our present knowledge of God has value here and in eternity (1 Timothy 4: .
So let’s reject distorted views of Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:14) and get to know Him the only way that we can know Him as He really is - from His Word.
