Get Off The Fence
By Pastor Andre Butler

And keep the charge of the LORD thy God to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoeve thou turnest thyself

1 Kings 2:3

If you walk in His ways, you can't take one step and say, "I was holy yesterday, but I can dip into sin today." To be holy means that "you obey God consistently."

If you live on the fence, straddling both the world and God's holiness, you will be poor and disgusted. One man of God said, "The most miserable person on the planet is not the sinner. It is the backslidden Christian, the person who is in the middle."

He's right. You have to come to a point where you obey God all the time. When you do that, you will prosper in everything you do, everywhere you go. This is the charge of the Lord.
