God Is No Respecter Of Persons
By Pastor Andre Butler

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him

Acts 10:34-35

God does not care if you are black or white. He does not care if you are rich or poor. He does not care if you are from the right side of the tracks or the wrong side of the tracks. God is not a respecter of persons.

When someone is healed and another person is not, it's easy to yield to the temptation of thinking that God has favorites. The issue is not whether God favored one person over another, but whether one person had faith and the other one didn't; whether one person was obeying God and the other one wasn't. God is no respecter of persons.

God respects obedience ("he that feareth Him") and faith that results in good works ("he that...worketh righteousness.") He looks at every person in the same way. Every person who fears Him and walks by faith is blessed.
