Waiting for God's Timing
By Pastor Andre Butler
And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ
Acts 18:5

Paul had been reasoning with the Jews and the Greeks in the synagogue, and after awhile, Paul was pressed in the spirit to testify that Jesus was Christ. Although Paul had been with these people for weeks, God told him to wait to testify. When the time was right, when they were ready (and only the Spirit of God knew when they were ready),,then God said, "Preach the gospel!" Even though Paul was anointed to preach the gospel, he still had to be sensitive to God's timing.

God has told you to preach the gospel to all people unto the uttermost parts of the earth, but you need to be led by the Holy Ghost when you do that. If you're not in God's timing, you can do more damage than good by preaching to someone. You have to be sensitive to the timing.
