Genesis 1: 26 & 27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The Hebrew word for “image” is “tzelem” which is derived from the word “tzel” which means “shadow” or reflection. The Hebrew word for “likeness” is “demus” and the word “demus” is derived from the word “domeh,” which means “similar. Here we see the trinity, as in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In that way we have been created in His express image and likeness. We also are tri-part beings. We are made up of body, soul, and spirit. It is within our spirit that we commune with God.

In that first verse of Genesis where He speaks and says “Let us make man in our image” we can again see the trinity at work. Kings traditionally use the plural form in speaking of themselves. (Tyndale study guide).

Fast forward to John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. Verse 14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

If Jesus is the Word of God and the Word was with God is God and created all things, and became flesh, then here it is stating that He is God. We have to realize that from the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation all of His Word is relative. It all flows together and there is no separation or compromise concerning Himself and who He is.

In Exodus 3 we see how God spoke to Moses in that burning bush and commanded that he go to Egypt and speak to Pharaoh to let the Children of Israel go from captivity. This is the conversation between God and Moses. Verse 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hast sent me unto you.

When speaking to the Jews, Jesus said this to them; John 8:58 Before Abraham was, I AM.

There are many mysteries in the Bible that no man can open unless they've been revealed to them by the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2: 9-13 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Now here is the clincher. Verses 14-16 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

God has made a way for us to truly know Him. He is to be preeminent in our lives or we will not know Him the way that He desires us to know Him. Colossians 1:18

Your teaching is very good and I am going to be watching how it changes as we go along following your teachings on the The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I wanted to take time to tell you how much I am loving have my friends in the new Christian forum. God is going to do mighty things in it and it will not be like any other that has been established on the net. Because God is leading this totally.
